As one of the region's largest employers we employ a massive variety of people with even more skills sets and experience. There really are hundreds of job titles across the council. Community roles range from everything like school crossing patrols and refuse collectors to social work opportunities, even fitness and leisure instructors. There are many clerical, administrative and reception roles, and, of course, a requirement for qualified professionals in areas like planning, civil engineering, finance, PR and HR.
