Bassetlaw as a district is currently undergoing a major, and incredibly exciting, regeneration initiative. Work is already underway, but over the next few years there will be massive investment in our commercial areas and we already attract big name businesses with nationwide distribution needs due to our location.

North Nottinghamshire is also a major tourist region with many attractions bringing in thousands of visitors each year, and so bringing yet more trade to the area. All of which means we need the right people in place to ensure we can handle current business, resident and visitor needs whilst looking ahead to the future and achieving the ambitious plans we have in the short, medium and long term.

If your role with us requires you to travel further afield for meetings or fact-finding missions, our transport networks couldn't be better - we are well served by road, rail and air. Doncaster, Nottingham, Sheffield and Birmingham are easily within driving distance; by rail you could be in Edinburgh, Newcastle, York and anywhere in between with ease. And London is just 90 minutes away by train.
